Romania is member of UE since January 2008

Romania is the
second consumption market in Eastern and Central Europe,
after Poland, with a population of 22 million inhabitants.
The Romanian economy is in a continuous development, so
the small offer of spaces in the commercial centers and a
relatively low internal competition represent excellent opportunities
for investors, developers and international retailers looking
for new markets.
In the last few years, within the economic development
context, Romania registered a real increase in the individual
purchasing power, as well as an increasing trend of such
increase for the next years.
The average salary increased in nominal terms, due to the
inflation, as well as in real terms, due to the improvement
of the economic situation. |
